Tue 15 Oct 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Somerville House Junior School students are invited to take part in the Student Council Colour Day, to raise money for RSPCA Queensland. Supporting this cause allows centres to provide care to animals in need. The RSPCA provides valuable veterinary support and aims to re-home animals into loving environments. Tori from the RSPCA will be talking to the students on assembly this week about their approach to caring for animals domestically and in the wild. We look forward to raising funds and awareness for this worthy cause. Please support the Student Council by taking in our Colour Day.
Date: 15 November 1.30pm to 3pm (students will go home at their normal time)
Venue: School Oval
What to Wear: White T-shirt, old shorts or leggings, sports shoes (old)
What to Bring: a towel for after the event and a spare towel, bin bag for the car – you will be going home straight after the colour run. Tutu, colourful ribbons/hair accessories are optional.
Event costs: $10/student or $12/student (see inclusions below)
Tickets include a colour race pack (headband and sunglasses) and participation in a colour fun run around the oval. For an extra $2, colourful slushies will be available. All profits from the Colour Day will go towards the RSPCA.
Please note, those students who would like to take part but not have coloured powder squirted at them may join the official fan zone with pom poms and bubbles.
